We were shared into groups were we were meant to discuss “How important typography is in graphic design”. So basically, typography is the art and technique of type design, arranging type and modifying type glyphs. The practice and study of typography is very broad and covers all aspects of letter design and application. It appears in web pages, graffiti, architectural lettering, posters, billboards, advertising, logos and maps. Etc..
Typography plays a major role in making any graphic designer successful. Without typography every design would appear to be incomplete. Typography allows a graphic designer to be more creative in many ways that other design do not. Typography is one of the most powerful tools in design. It is clear that graphic design is a lot more than just colours and layout . Words and texts are all around us everything we do.
Good typography coms from paying full attention to tiny details as this can make the differences between graphic design work that is just acceptable or really good, Clever graphic designers love to use typography to explore the interaction between the look of type and what type actually says. In communicating a message, a balance has to be achieved between visual and verbal aspect of a design. Visual language all the talking from any image.
This is a good typography because there is good use of colours and formative/structured

Good use of typography makes it in 3D.
Here are bad use of typography which are :-
I would say the above are bad use of typography because it does not say/tell any meaning and its just plain/flat. Finally lack of colours and layouts been used on it.
Finally i would say without typography a good graphic designers work can never be completer and organised.
